#Celtics G Rajon Rondo made it through today's full contact practice with no glitches or setbacks. Could potentially play Wed vs #nets.

Wonder if he was playing with that padded glove over his hand and whether the NBA has approved him being able to wear it in games?

With only 5 days from now til then?  This is an absolute guarantee Rondo will play opening night.  We'll probably see him take it very easy for the first 2-3 weeks of the season, but nonetheless.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Rondo better play hard. I want to see him rise up for acrobatic layups and dunks (once in a while like he used to). I want him running through picks and diving for steals.

If not , why authorize him to play??  What is the rush. I don't get it with Rondo

The guy is prob paranoid, Smart is going to take his spot or something.

I'm seriously starting to think Gary Tanguay is behind the account named @triboy16f.

Speaking of him, today he did a short 'preview', or something, of expectations for Smart, Celtics, and the first sentence that goes out of his mouth is:"Once they trade Rondo..."

Take a look.

I can't wait to see his dumb face when Rondo signs a new contract with the Celtics at the end of the season.
Tommy Heinsohn:"Worst nightmare in the NBA is Rondo with a jump shot." B-)

Celtic Pride!

That much is obvious. :) Might be the most accurate thing you've said about Rondo.

Bottom line is, Rondo better play hard.  I don't want anymore excuses.  I don't want Tommy to be going nuts about Rondo (bc when he does, its the truth).  I especially don't want the team to tell reporters they got to play better, when its one guy causing key issues on both ends (the way its been for 2 seasons) .

if rondo goes back to playing 90 percent of how he was in 2008-2010, i will the first one creating a thread here that we need to sign him up for the long term

If Rondo isn't ready to go all-out ... then, I hope Stevens keeps him on the bench.

Let Smart start and let Rondo build up his game-fitness from backup PG slot.

+1. Absolutely

No player should be given a free pass. And a great player should not want a free pass

Who is giving anyone a free pass?  I mean come on.  What are you even talking about?

Good to hear that Rondo is coming back.  Every thread doesn't have to turn into this nonsense does it?
