That's right, I forgot basketball players are such wimps now-a-days.  My bad.  Play 12 guys and LeBron's right, 82 games are way too much.

And I guess using "Per 36" stats is useless as no one plays 36 minutes a game.  Maybe we should use "per 20 minutes" for now on?

Yes, because that is the only alternative to your desire to play only 8 guys.

Anyone who says Zeller at starting center doesn't watch the preseason games.

Sully and Kelly together on the court has been money.

Smart had played great with Avery

When rondo comes back I suspect rondo and Avery will play great.

So with that said.

Rondo
Avery
Green
kelly
Sully

Smart 6th man
Turner 7
Young (will eventually be at this spot)
Thorton
Zeller
Bass

but honestly when Gerald Wallace is in, the kid never does anything. Great passing, hustles, good defense. Plays to the system. He'll get some good minutes as well. Also he has a huge contract lol.

How are people not having Sully in their starting lineup? He's BY FAR been our best and most consistent performer throughout the preseason. I think he can be an 18/10 guy this year when he gets all of his minutes.

Too many redundant players of roughly equal ability.

Bradley, Turner, Thornton...good options, but only one will start.  AB is the incumbent, but isn't far and away better than either alternate.  Similar situation at PF with Sully, Bass, and KO.

CBS will go with:

Rondo/Smart
Bradley/Thornton
Green/Turner
Sully/Bass
Olynyk/Zeller

I might try an active 12 player roster of:

Rondo/Smart
Turner/Thornton/Bradley
Green/Young
Sully/Bass/Wallace
KO/Zeller

Thornton's scoring, Bradley's D, but Turner has the most complete package of skills.  I don't see how he doesn't start ahead of the other 2 in my book anyway, but I can't see how to balance out 3 journeyman-level SG's.

Waiting for the inevitable 20 DNPs for Bradley due to injury for Thornton to get minutes?

Turner at SF behind Green, Young to the deep bench would make some sense, perhaps, but I would try Turner as a starter with Rondo and the rest for a while.

Sully will be our leading scorer and rebounder. How anyone does not slot him as a starter makes no sense to me.

no way man. Smart is the future

How many pg's his height, size, strength , defense and above avg skills do you see in the league?

We have been seeing prob 65 percent of what he is capable of on the offensive end so far. Those cuts and finish for layups and finish after contact will be gold. He went to the line frequently in college and had 20 plus and ones.  This is why some ppl were comparing him to dwade
