 3 team Trade idea
works here cas young's restriction expires  in 3 days
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=q6gngx3

Boston sends:Rondo,wallace,olynyk
Boston gets:deing,Minnesota 2015 pick,knicks 2018 pick

Minnesota sends deing and young and  2015 first round pick
Minnesota gets Rondo,shumpart and olynyk

Knicks send stoudimire, shumpart 2018 first rounder
knicks get young

why boston
we get our future center in deing. mark my words he will be a star if he is not injured. We also get two picks to add to our pile. we tank this year and draft our future sf. then we have our young foundation of
smart
bradley
drafted guy to be
sully
deing

why Minnesota
saw at espn top 10 most likely to be traded this year and young was number 3
so this gives them a proven star in rondo and a pf to replace young in olynyk with some depth in shumpart. they could have a good free agent signing if rondo convinces some star to join him and wiggins. My guess would be rudy gay. still gives them options and gets rid of a guy they were looking to trade while keeping his production in olynyk

why knicks
the kcicks are awful and they need to get better. they get a strong scoring pf in young to help there line up. we take stoudimire of there hands. next year they could go sign deandre jordan and jeremy lin to get a line up of
lin
jr smith
anthoney
young
jordan

thats a good team
it helps them add around carmelo and helps wiht cap space basically

zach lavine-jeremy lin-tyus jones
jeremy lamb-tyshen prince-Andre miller
will barton- beljina-
Kevin love-kevin garnet-payne
Karl anthoney Towns-JJ hickson

Hawkeye, I'm afraid your proposal is probably a nonstarter for two reasons: 1) The Knicks are not compromising the good salary cap position that they will be in at the end of this season unless they are getting a star in the deal, which they are not. They should be over $20 million under the cap if they don't do trades like this. 2) I don't think Rondo will sign an extension in Minnesota.

Agreed.  I'm guessing our center of the future comes from the 2015 draft.  Could have a handful of legit 7 footers.  Can't remember a draft stocked with as many centers as this one could be.

I don't think Minny does it.  Deing and a first round pick?

They have no need to do this trade.

I would like it for the Celtics though.
