Shortening probably has to due with networks wanting to slot in games better to fit with TV shows. Maybe they feel if shows end in a better time frame it won't screw up the shows airing right after, that they pumped 5 consecutive commercials at you to watch.

Yup.....it's about fans viewing MORE commercial s and less basketball.

It's not a bout one minute per quarter ...that's just absurd "...  That's not going to,mean squat....that is pure .....horse doo......we are not all robots

To reduce injury ...you reduce the frequency of an event ......being a whole game .....this is the only way it will make any TRUE difference in players health.....it's about recovery time.

So does KG defend Sully or Kelly? I see him guarding Sully, because I don't see him being able to keep up with Olynyk's increasingly perimeter game, though Sully has been out there alot lately, too.

Without Lopez, I like this matchup for us.  As long we contain JJ and DWill, I think we'll run them off of the court.

Yeah, the stars will stay play 36-40 minutes a game, so it won't limit the wear and tear at all. Just means the bench guys will play less.

It's irritating to me that this lessening the game length by 4 minutes is trying to passed off as "innovative" "progressive", or anything other than calling it out for the gyp that it is. At least the rule changes in football and the stupid glowing puck could be presented as positive and well meaning with a straight face. This? This is just indefensible.

Man, I need an update on Young, the kid needed preseason but it's his own fault! Now, if RR comes back game 1, Young def may not get mins because that shifts Turner to more SF mins.
