Hello everyone,
Looking at the preseason play so far I am hoping for a small ball starting lineup. When everyone is healthy I feel this should be the starting 5.
Rondo*, AB, Turner, Green* and Sully.

Who do you feel should be the starters when everyone is healthy?

I would go with that lineup as well, Rondo, AB, Turner, Green and Sullinger. It's our best 5, might as well go with it. We have no true center no matter how you shake things up, and Turner, Rondo, and Sullinger are all good rebounders so we should be ok on that end.

Center and PF issues is why I say go small. Plus depth chart is stronger as
Rondo/Smart/Pressey
AB/Thornton
Turner/Young/Wallace
Green/Bass/Powell*
Sully/Olynyk/Zeller/Anthony

Rondo

Sully/Olynyk

I don't really know which one is the power forward and which one is the center in that lineup, but that's the starting unit I'd go with.  Seeing as we don't really have a starting caliber center, we may as well start our two most talented bigs . . . who both happen to be power forwards.

Bench:

Smart
Thornton
Turner
Bass
Zeller

Deep bench:

Pressey
Young
Wallace
Anthony
Faverani (I'm hoping he moves up in the rotation once he gets healthy)

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Turner, Bradley, Green, Sullinger, and Zeller.
So with that group I take it that you believe Rondo is gone and Zeller improves.

Consider it an Olynyk et. al., the important thing for me, so far into the season, is that Sullinger gets the starting dibs over KO.

My 2 cents:

Starters
Rondo AB Green Sully Zeller
2nd unit
Smart Thornton Turner Bass Oly

I think Zeller is better defender than Oly (and better than shown so far) and IMO balances the starting 5. In the end Oly is the better player and should play more - trusting CBS with the in game rotations.

The 2nd unit has also a nice balance on O. A bit undersized defensively, but not such an issue against most bench units.
"We do so many defensive drills in practice, I come home and I'm putting the press on my woman, denying her the ball.
Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

Who I want as the starting 5

Pressey
Thornton
Wallace
Sullinger
Joel "Big Haiti" Anthony

Who Will be the starting 5

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Zeller

Then you have guys like Banks 2.0, Turner, and Olynyk on the bench.

They need to play the above lineup to maximize trade value and maximize the rebuild. I hope the team wins around 15 games and gets into a prime spot to welcome Okafor or Towns to the team.

You are aware that with the new draft lottery system that teams no longer have to pull a Philly tank job to have an excellent chance at landing in the top 2-3 draft spots, aren't you?

There could be a scenario where the team with the worst record actually chooses 7th and that the odds of landing a top 2-3 pick remain virtually the same whether you end up with the worst record or the 6th worst record. It now makes absolutely no sense to rip apart a team in totality to lose 65 games in a year to try to end up with the number one pick when you can try like heck to win, win 30 games and still end up with about the same odds of winning the lottery.

Tanking in the philly like manner that they did last year is not just stupid and foolish.

best players at their positions:
pg rondo
sg turner
sf green
pf sully
c olynyk

best mix
pg rondo
sg thornton  (spreads floor)
sf green
pf sully
c olynyk

this leaves a good blend of bradley and turner (who can handle ball) smart bass seller off bench
turners defense can be protected by bradley, smart and bass
