So with KD and Beal out for a good period of time, Washington needs a SG and Oklahoma needs a SF. Since our team is pretty much a collection of assets, I bet we can help them out and make it worth our while

BOS Out: Jeff Green, Marcus Thornton
BOS In: Otto Porter, Kendrick Perkins, MEM 2017 2nd Round Pick

OKC Out: Jeremy Lamb, Kendrick Perkins, MEM 2017 2nd Round Pick
OKC In: Marcus Thornton, Martell Webster

WAS Out: Otto Porter, Martell Webster
WAS In: Jeff Green, Jeremy Lamb

Porter under performed last year but overall I see him having a better career than Green. That being said, he's not as good as Green is right now. Green could push Washington into serious contender in the east (If they weren't there already) They also get a backup/fill in for Beal, but who isn't so good as to create a logjam when Beal gets back. (PS: I don't want Perkins back in Green. Perkins is 100% done, but he has a large expiring contract, making him an easy trade target)

OKC fills their SF role and replaces Lamb with Thornton. Can't imagine why they wouldn't do it.

I don't see how Porter showed any signs of being close to Green's level.

Also, why do people want perk back! He is basically useless now.

Agree, Old Perk is not walking through that door.   DA got rid of him, about the right time.

Porter did show vast improvement in summer league, but I haven't seen any Wizards games thus far in the preseason to see if it's carried over. Still, he's in his rookie contract (only 2 years in) and with the new CBA that contract will look even more minuscule. Low risk/high reward for a player (Green) who might not be part of our future plans.

Perk is a shell of himself, but still he's an expiring contract, provides toughness and is a definite upgrade over Anthony.

I don't think the Wiz will give up on Porter so early.
