  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
For some weird reason it was dead at work, so i decided to watch old Celtics footage (thanks to the Internet, i can). I stumbled upon two great comebacks.

It was both great to relieve. But it does made me ask, which one was better?

What do you guys think?

having seen both when they happened, I have to go with 2002 for following reasons:
- the 2002 team was an underdog to the Nets and looked completely dead before the comeback.
- the 2002 was the first to pull it off.  call me crazy but after the 2002 comeback with lesser teammates, how could anyone not expect PP to rally the troops in 2008.  without 2002, I don't think the rally cry in 2008 carries the same credibility.

I did not care about the celtics or the nba that much back in 2002, so I just saw part of it (2002).
I think you can't compare the two. NBA Final is the best stage to shine and the 2008 game 4 was on the road, which makes it even harder to comeback. Most teams just give up in that situation. At home you can't do it beacause you will get booed off the court.

For me, I think the 2008 Game 4 NBA Finals was the best comeback.

Looking back, there was SO MUCH on the line with that ONE game...we were down by so much, but Doc Rivers never gave up on his team and IMO he practically willed BOS to victory in that game.

If we had lost? We probably would've fallen into a 3-2 hole. We lost game 3 in LA, and lost game 5 (Perk sat out with an injury).

If LA had 3-game momentum heading back to BOS that series could've had a different outcome.

Thank you Doc, KG, PP, RA.

IMO couldn't ask for a more perfect game...the look on the Laker fans faces....the look of disgust by Kobe at the end.
