Rondo.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that.  I'd be pretty shocked if he was cleared by then.

I love the optimism from Rondo but when the reality of the injury sinks in, I think he misses the start of the season.
agreed - most likely misses the first 2 weeks of the season if not the first month.  would add that he'll probably need another 2-3 weeks to get back to whatever level he's able to play at since he's missing camp and preseason.

It will probably be ET. But I hope to see Smart outplay him coming off the bench and earn the starting spot before Rondo returns.

ET's experience  and versatility really showing.

Turners P& R skills and taking it to the hole can really be effective and valuable in setting up teammates.

I'm rooting hard for this kid.

Sees the floor really well.

I really like Turner at the point.   Bradley or Smart at the two just to defend the other teams PG.

Turner
Bradley or Smart
Green
Bass
KO

With Smart/Bradley    Sulley/Young  and Zellar or Victor spot minutes at C.

With Rondo Back I really like

Rondo
Turner
Green
Bass
KO

Evan Turner belongs on the floor .... I'd put him with Rondo. Or Smart

He rebounds and sees  the court really well.

AB doing anything with the ball scares me.

Bumping a poll started 3 weeks ago.

Just curious if anyone who picked Turner or Smart has changed his/her mind.

While I expected Smart to lead the polling, the 44-13 margin has kinda thrown me a little. While I made it clear in the OP why I selected Turner and why people would likely pick Smart, I think those numbers might not be so disproportionately favoring Smart if the poll were done now.

+1 for another convert. ;D

Turner has been hungry and he's earned this. Hopefully, BS agrees.

Gotta be Turner.

Unfortunately, I already voted for the rookie and am not allowed to change my vote.

My wish is slightly changed:

Starting

Rondo
New player
Green
New player
KO

off the bench

Smart
Zeller
Young

Trade Sully, Bass, Thorton, AB and picks for upgrades.
