I can only GM with a partner, so a consultant role may work best. Either that or a panelist.

FYI: I'm the guy on the right.

Does this mean Nick thinks I look like the guy on the left?

Touch & go at the moment with me.  Don't count on me at the moment, though.

New job and dealing with the 10/15 tax deadline.

Sadly, unless some major interest comes in in the next couple of days it appears yet another long time draft here at Celticsblog will not be happening this year.

If it's possible to have a draft time starting 3:30et or later I'd be a GM.  If not I'd gladly be a consultant and/or judge.

I can go with the same starting draft time as freshinthehouse (3:30pm ET) if needed.....that works for me.

At minimum you will have to be around for one time slot for the first 5 days and two times for the next four days as you make your selections. Then there is a presentation you should submit for the panelists to see and possibly ask you questions about and that's about it.

You can actually not be around for your time slot to select by submitting a list of player you want to me and I can make the selection for you. I think the real time consuming part of this exercise is looking through the players, finding players you might be interested in, looking up their stats and then selecting the year you want to represent that player at the end of the drafting.

Of course, participation beyond that is encouraged as you discuss your team and how you might proceed. Trades are allowed so if you pursue those that's more time involved. Its a good 2-2.5 weeks of involvement overall.

Today was supposed to be the team assignment date and draft lottery but unfortunately, due to lack of interest and participation, that will not be happening. As with the Celticsblog Draft before it this year, the CB Historical Draft will be cancelled this year and probably indefinitely until it appears there is real interest by people to play this game again.

To those that signed up this year, I apologize and give you all TPs for willing to take part. Perhaps in the future we might bring this forth for another try.

Shame.  Had this been when it normally was around Memorial Day I could have done it, but with a trial in 10 days, I can't allot the time required.  Sucks, as I really enjoy doing this.

I really enjoyed the May date for this too.

Same here.  I know, for me, that'd be a much better time to have it.  Lot less going on that time of year.
