Boston in: Tobias Harris, Brandon Jennings
Boston out: Rajon Rondo

Orlando in: Greg Monroe
Orlando out: Tobias Harris

Detroit in: Rajon Rondo
Detroit out: Brandon Jennings, Greg Monroe

(Financials should work)

Why Boston does it: They get a great young SF with huge potential in Tobias Harris (14.6 ppg 7.0 rpg, 22 years old) and a solid sixth man in Jennings.

Why Detroit does it: They finaly solve their frontcourt problem and Rondo is an big upgrade over jennings, who could make Drummond look even better.

Why Orlando does it: They have Aaron Gordon to replace Harris, and they get a young reliable big man with star potential in Greg monroe who can play either Center or Power Forward.

Tell me what you think!
And if your not sold on Harris here is a reason you should be:

If Green is out for big than maybe it works. But biggest issue is Harris and Jennings for Rondo isn't enough.

Definitly some things that I like about the deal. Tobias Harris is just the kind of blue chip, verge of taking the next step type of prospect that we should be looking for in a return for Rondo.

I also think Jennings offers an intriguing situation since to his stock being so low and Rondo being viewed as an obvious upgrade. I really like the idea as Brandon Jennings running a second unit and it seems like our team could probably use an over confident shot creator.

You might worry about Jennings fitting in with Stevens but Jordan Crawford found a great niche and Jennings contract isn't really obscene either.

I think I'll pass. Tobias and Jennings = Rondo? Nope.

only point of dealing Rondo for so little in return is to challenge Philly for worst record -- which I'm against.  Jennings is a major negative -- not a real PG.  Harris is ok but we already have a better SF in Green.

You would prever a 28 year old SF who averages 16,9  ppg on 41% and 4.7 rpg over a guy who averaged 14.6 ppg on 46,4% and 7.0 rpg as a 21 year old?

Harris has huge potential, thats what a rebuilding team needs.

We would have a great young core to build around with Smart, Bradley, Harris, olynyk and sullinger.

But i would say we should decide whether to keep Sully or Olynyk because they have the same style of play.

And of course we need a defensive big (hopefully we get one in next years draft...)

I don't agree with this statement.  One is a nifty post player who thinks he can shoot.   The other is a fair outside shooter but shoots weak post shots.   One can rebound and one can't.   Both are mediocre defenders and good passers.

we'd have a mediocre core.  5 role players starting with 1 an untested rookie.

Harris would be considered a success if he could have a career like Green's.  he's unlikely to turn out to be a better player

He (Harris) just turned 22 and averages nearly as many points as green and is already a better rebounder. Further more he plays with passion every game that alone is a huge upgrade over greens attidude.
