Both are 6'9 , 7'3-7'4 wingspan, 9'0 reach (better than some legit sized centers in the nba), 35-36" vertical leap.  250 pounds plus, wide shoulder , undersized Centers.  Alexander is younger and already has a better offensive game at the same age.  Harrell however plays with KG like intensity and is all over the place.  Both guys are very good rebounders, shot blockers.

Alexander.   If he could grow another inch we could add him to our list of
future center hopefuls, a bit more gettable than Okafor or Towns.

I agree.  6'9 is kind of undersized for a Center still but Alexander has the wide shoulders/strength to be able to box out on a consistent basis. Plus he can block shots.  Has a decent looking jump shot

Harrell could of declared this past draft and prob would of gone in the 20's. But i read he is working on his offensive game, especially make the wide open jump shot.  I like Harrell alot also

so far no one seems to talk much about cauley-stein and i am wondering why not? he is likely going to be available when the celtics pick and seems to play good defense.

i dont know much about this upcoming group of players so i asking others here their opinion on cauley-stein.

I don't think either of them are the answer to any team at center. With that being said, I was very dissappointed Harrell dropped out of this years draft because I really wanted us to give him a look.

Ditto. At this point, I'd rather have a 7-2 project than a 6-9 "center."

I've seen him play probably about 5 high profile games. On the plus side he can be an absolute game changer. He'll out jump every one around him and can lock down the paint for extended stretches of time. Everyone says Tyson Chandler for his comp which is fine, but personally I don't think he ever ends up nearly as good.

From what I've seen he lacks a true feel for the game. He kind of stands around and waits for an opportunity to use his athletisism. He doesn't understand things like cutting off angles that player like Chandler and KG are so effective at. Does not mean he can't learn, but given his age as a prospect he may be more of a what you see is what you get type.

Just my opinion I hope he proves me wrong because a fully developed WCS would be a force, just don't see it with him right now.

Definetly fascinated by Harrell's intensity. I like that look in his eye, he was a key contributor on a national championship team and he is a + athlete, not a freak mind you, but strong, fast and long enough to keep up with the top 4's in the league.

He's not young but that could be a good thing being that he was clearly a player that needed polish. I'm sure the reps Pitino put him through every day made him a far better player and sometimes its best not to try to learn how to play the game at the highest level I.e Fab Melo. I will be very excited if we can snag him in the mid first round.

IMO Cliff can learn to play the 4 pretty well in the NBA.
O, I would pick Cliff, especially after seeing his dad dunk/360 at 40.lol

isnt it more predictive to look at their standing reach than their height? after all, most centers i have seen prefer to rebound with their hands and not their heads.

I'd rather have the next Dave Cowens than the next Fab Melo.
