The big thing is that you can clearly tell that Karl is developing nicely, watching this new video shows he has gotten a little extra bounce in his jump. The best dunk is the one at the end, it looks pretty close to being from the free throw line.

Karl is known more for his face up game and great skill set than being an athlete, although he is. Any progress he makes athletically I just feel obligated to post on here.

Karl is a legit 7 footer..maybe even 7'1''.
He has a 7'4'' wingspan and a 9'5'' standing reach.
According to some sources he is still growing. (IMO I think he is tall enough, best case scenario he gets another couple inches on that wingspan and standing reach)

BTW I can not wait to watch this kid in Green. He loves playing basketball and is a legit good kid...not a pr hack job.
When I see him play and watch interviews with him he just reminds me of a Celtic. It may be the way he carries himself but I just know we would be so lucky to have him in our organization.

This draft has a chance to really be a good one, especially on the big man front.  I think Okafor, Towns, Alexander, Turner, and Porzingis all have good potential.  There also appears to be several intriguing swingmen in this class as well.

I hope so. It would be so nice if we got lucky with player development this year and also got a great pick that turned out great.

Towns does need to work on explosiveness, lateral quickness, and defense; but he's on the perfect team this year to do a lot of all those.

Turner reminds me of Lamarcus Aldridge. He could end up playing the 4.

I wouldn't say "some" dude can do a under the leg dunk.  He's pretty athletic for a 7 footer.

He will be gone by the time we pick unless we get Cleveland lucky.

Not if DA does his job  ;D
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

One of the many reasons I'm in the trade Rondo camp.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Watching this clip and some others, I was close to drooling.

There's so much physical tools there to work with, his potential is sky high. I'm starting to understand why Danny is not signing or trading for a quality Center, he's just waiting for Karl Towns.  ;D

Wow, I'd love to see more from this kid.

I see him as a Pau Gasol like player. Similar face up finesse game. Excellent passing, solid shot blocking and range or to 20 feet. I want either him or Okafor plus Emmanuel Mudiay

I'd rather keep Rondo, and not go back to the lottery.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

His tools are already greater than anyone in this years draft... Guy is a 7 footer with handles and has a good looking stroke... With skill sets... Maybe Danny knew... Point guard in this year... Center in next... Him and Kelly .. 2 7 footers... That are mobile... Jeff green at the 3...

Smart
Bradley
Green
Olynyk

His body shape kinda reminds me of Patrick Ewing. Anyway I think his floor is Brooke Lopez w/o injuries and better rebounding.

Doesn't play anything like Brook Lopez... Plus Towns can hit the 3.
