I'll stick my neck out and say Arrested Development.  1+2 were great, but Season 3 started to get a little shaky, and the Netflix season was really ambitious but just kind of a mess.

I looked for a long time for a picture of a guillotine or a picture of Ned Stark being beheaded that I thought would be acceptable. I could not find one, so I will merely mention that I disagree.

I'll clarify that it was never bad, it just dropped off in the last two seasons.  It had a long way to drop though, so even the later stuff is better than the vast majority of TV.

Arrested Development got kind of crazy for the 3rd season because they knew the show was being cancelled. They tried to fit in as many jokes and ridiculous nonsense as possible.

The 4th season was only good if you are a die hard fan, which I think is what they were going for.

I thought the first season of Masters of Sex was pretty entertaining and well done.  This year they've decided to bludgeon the viewer with a particular worldview.  Jumped the shark indeed.

Deadwood, I will always love it because it gave Timothy Olyphant the credibility to be Raylan Givens. I will also always love it because it had maybe the best opening sequence to a TV show that has ever been made.

That first season was magic but after that the plot lines and season ending cliffhangers stunk until it finally all feel apart. Probably cancelled a year later than it should have been.

And just like Bewitched with Darren, The Jeffersons with Lionel, and Fresh Prince with Aunt Viv, they brought in a different actor to play the role of Ray Allen in the last season like we wouldn't even notice.  And don't even get me started on bringing in Jeff Green to play the Cousin Oliver part.  It didn't work for the Brady Bunch, and it sure didn't work for the C's.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

not sure whether to give you a TP for that original thought or to curse you for making the Celtics sadly relevant to this discussion.

suppose I'll give a TP based on your earlier work ;)

good pick ups on NewsRadio and Ally Mcbeal.  Hard to fault News though -- a situation totally out of their control derailed a promising show.  Ally was an interesting concept initially that kind of pooped out.

Mash went sappy pretty quickly and declined rapidly with each passing year.   totally unwatchable after Margaret got engaged and Frank left the show.

The season 3 finale really made it feel like a redemption arc was developing.  I was so excited when they announced season 4's new characters!  But as usual in even-numbered seasons nothing quite seemed to gel.  At least it made the tail end of season 5 a nice surprise before season 6's "limping to the barn" theme and the inevitable cancellation.

I'd say more but I don't want to start another debate on whether Rondo has the chops to carry a spinoff.  ;D

Moonlighting

Gotta agree on Ally McBeal.  Bon Jovi, no acting ability...

In all seriousness, Deadwood has one of the best endings ever because it's so underwhelming as it's happening.

Power Rangers.

Mighty Morphin' was the best thing ever.

Every season got worse and worse.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
