Picking would have been easier for me .  I would not have screwed up the drafting for the Celtics.........I d lost every game necessary to have got a top three pick .

He put himself in a poor place to draft .

No excuse for that master screwup .

Well but yeah...so..smart/young?

Smart and Young for me

Undrafted Sim Bhullar good coach and trainer should make this guy a decent back up center. Guy has too much size to stop.

Sim BhullAr, choice cut. Can't teach height.

Ainge did great, those were safe picks. I wish he were a gambling man though, and rolled with this:

#6 - Dario Saric, #17 - Walter Tavares, Undrafted - Jordan Bachynski

Taverres had his moments during summer league, but like you I'm still very high on Dario. Hedo in his prime? Yes please.

Smart (BPA)
and
Kyle Anderson for me.

No undrafted guys - enough projects at every position.

Very good idea, by the way.

Another Kyle Anderson. Well if the spurs believe, we're a bunch of idiots for faulting that, that's just cannon.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
when's the cutoff line? Some of these guys won't be studs until their 3rd or 4th year, doesn't mean they weren't a better pick- but we won't know until we know- if ya know what I'm saying?

How long have they got to prove they were a better pick than Danny's pick?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

You have until the first preseason game to make your pick. You have until the end of eternity to make your case.

I'd pick exactly the same as Danny. Maybe sign J. Macadoo as undrafted.

I do wish there was a way Bruno Caboclo fell to the 2nd round and Danny picked him up. IMO we could always trade KO for him.

I have a knack for good passers and the kid has vision and hands.

Rondo, Manu, Kyle Anderson, KO and say Jo Noah would be a dream to watch for me. Not a great team, but i'd will love the ball flow.

Would've been close between Smart, Randle and McDermott but I probably would've also chosen Smart at 6.

For no 17, either Gary Harris or Rodney Hood.
