Efrid Payton, Jusuf Nurkic, James Macadoo

Still can't believe Macadoo went undrafted. I still remember his dad admonishing him publicly last season with a comment that said to me at the time, 'He's not coming out this year, I promise you that'. I always imagined JM going, 'Aw Daddddddd.....Come on!'

Marcus Smart, James Young

Sorry to sound like a sycophant, but I think that Danny drafted the best player on the board with each pick.

6 - Marcus Smart
17 - Jordan Adams (my favorite guy out of this draft, little bit of James Harden in him)

Undrafted - Sean Kilpatrick

Also loved me some Deandre Kane and Tyler Johnson. But if i had to choose one undrafted guy its Sean.

Would a sycophant have lauded David as 'Just another statue?' Would a sycophant have said 'The Blueprint Vol II' was 'just another rap album'? No sir, you are an admirer of genius, nothing wrong with that.

Jordan Adams looked the part in summer league. Can't knock that.

I'm surprised that there aren't more 2nd round guys being picked. Thought Id see more Cleanthony Early, etc.

Smart and Young in Danny Ainge we trust! (honestly don't care for pick 17, I was pulling for Smart though for #6 and got him).

I think that means James Young overtakes Clint Capela for the favorite at #2! Well then, I guess we as a collective are NOT smarter than Danny Ainge.

But the few of us who differ, it is our hubris which will ultimately validate those hours of reading/watching draft express videos and Summer League!

My picks:

6: Doug McDermott 17: BRUNO CABOCLO Undrafted: Eric Moreland

McBuckets at 6. Ew.

Elfrid Payton...nice pick.

But the thing about point guards, at least in drafting a franchise cornerstone, is that I feel like it's the deepest position in the league.

If you could make a list for every position, and the criteria was, 'Name all the players in the NBA you'd be comfortable with at this position being your 3rd best player on a championship team', the list at PG would I believe be by far the longest. Who was the last ROY who wasn't a point guard? MCW, Lillard, Irving, then Blake Griffin? This year is the first year in a long time that I think a point guard might not win it.

Blake Griffin also stole John Wall's ROY, insofar as Blake would've been ineligible but for the knee injury.

I have no idea who I would have drafted.

No opinion? NO OPINION?! Unacceptable. We accept all forms of takes here. Luke-warm takes. Salty-and-sweet takes. But no takes? BOOOOO!!

Efrid Payton, Jusuf Nurkic, James Macadoo

I think Kurkic was gone by the time we picked again.

Well spotted. He went at 16.

Which one? CJ Fair or JMM?

CJ Fair is my dark horse for 'Guy nobody thought to sign but we should've'

I saw a bit of him at Syracuse, and it seems like every game I saw the vaunted Jeremi Grant was athletic but incredibly unskilled, but CJ Fair looked way more polished.

He did dunk over Bruno Caboclo..so..

Picking would have been easier for me .  I would not have screwed up the drafting for the Celtics.........I d lost every game necessary to have got a top three pick .

He put himself in a poor place to draft .

No excuse for that master screwup .
