Big Z isnt an every night center. Who do you want to see the Celtics go after?

Initially, I was confused because of your Big Z reference lol.  I thought, "well of course he isn't an every night center, he's been retired for 3 years ;D"  Having said that, are you talking about potential free agents and/or trades, or next year's draft?  I haven't even looked at any of the prospects yet ;D

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Trades:Bismac Biyombo, Rudy Gobert(prospect)
Draft: Karl Towns

It would also be nice to buy low on Larry Sanders....but only if it cost us expirings.... and 1 pick at the most. Our team would be a lot better and more balanced with Sanders or Biz on it.

I want to make a run at Al Horford. I know it's a long shot. I know it would take a lot. I'm willing to throw a lot at getting him. I think he and Rondo together would make us a *good* playoff team. Add Green, AB and Sully and I'm thinking we're as competitive as Washington or Toronto, likely better because our cast has been together a little longer and our PG is better.

We have 8 first round picks in the next 4 drafts. I'm all for shipping some out. I really think if we don't have something in the works by January that Rondo will get traded and we'll be in a prolonged rebuild which, after 1 year of it, I'm already tired of. We can send out $26M+ of expiring money and as many as 7 first round picks. I'm not advocating doing that but I'm saying we're in flux and if we don't make a move to get better I expect the opposite to happen by all-star break.

For the record I'm fine with either option I just want something to happen. Either we need to get Rondo real help or we need to get something for Rondo. Earn that paycheck Danny!

Yeah the shopping at Walmart for junk centers needs to stop .   Everybody but the Celtics can come up with a decent center .   I wonder if a Danny is suffering from some sort of brain malfunction or old age .  Playing with a team of guards. >:(

Agreed on Horford.

Would love to have him.

Blatche, 1 year make good contract.
Low cost, low risk, still has a chance to be realy good.

Great idea.

Since he signed in Brooklyn, Blatche has shown he can be a very good player.

He's no Joel Anthony or Vitor Faverani, but he'll do.

He's probably better than either, tbh.

Blatche would be great.

my mind cannot reconcile these two statements.  ???
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
