Boston Out: rondo,wallace,faverani,green,bass,bogans,young,olynyk clips 15 nets 16 nets 18
Boston In: Rudy Gay, Larry Sanders, Jonas Jerebko, Ben McLemore

Sacramento Out: Gay, McLemore, Williams, Stauskas picks 2015 2016
Sacramento In: Rajon Rondo, Josh smith, Gerald Wallace, Vitor Faverani

Detroit Out: Smith, Jerebko
Detroit In: Jeff Green,Brandon Bass,Nick Stauskas clips 15 sac 15

Milwaukee Out: Larry Sanders
Milwaukee In: Derrick Williams, Keith Bogans, Kelly Olynyk, James Young sac 16 nets 16 nets 18

Why Boston does it: Get rid of wallace, bass, and green all players expected to be moved if possible. Get an excellent (sometimes inefficient) scorer in Rudy Gay which is desperately needed. get a legitimate center in Larry Sanders and a young and up and coming shooting guard in Ben McLemore

Why Sacramento does it: Big 3 of Rondo Smith and Cousins

Why Detroit does it: get out of smith's bad contract and failed signing. Allows Greg Monroe to play with more space, and get a great 3rd+ option scorer in Jeff Green and solid back up expiring contract big Brandon Bass. Plus a 6'6 versatile shooter in Nick Stauskas and picks

Why Milwaukee does it: Get rid of the wild card and expensive contract of Larry Sanders, Get versatile big/wing in Derrick Williams, ungarunteed and immediately waivable Keith Bogans and A young and up and coming big in Kelly Olynyk plus picks.

Why do you think Larry Sanders and Josh Smith have that much positive value, if any?

who can't shoot in the NBA.

More worrying is how Ben's shot is actually getting worse as the season progresses rather than getting better. In November, he hit 36.4% of his threes, a respectable number, but in the subsequent months that's dropped to 35.1%, 29.3%, 23.5% and finally 25.0%. Shooters typically do better with the more repetition they get, but for Ben it's basically been the opposite. There's also the fact that among all those 16 players listed above that were poor three point shooters on high volume their rookie year, Ben has the lowest overall Field Goal Percentage, just below Kemba Walker's 36.6%. Part of that is because so many of his overall shots are threes themselves, but the shot chart shows he's been pretty bad from most areas on the court, not just from three.

Ben McLemore's rookie season has definitely been a struggle, and in fact, historically bad. Of players who have played at least 1400 minutes, only 7 have had a PER of less than 8 and a True Shooting Percentage of less than .470 in their rookie season: Gene Wiley, Mike Farmer, Ben McLemore, Larry Demic, Junior Harrington, Austin Rivers and Adam Morrison. That's not good company to be with.

Not worth it. Were giving up too much with what were getting. That's not enough for those unprotected Brooklyn picks and Rajon Rondo.

I would hunt down Danny Ainge and do very unpleasant things to him if he OKed that trade.

Giving up 3 potentially very valuable (well, the BKN ones) unprotected picks, our two best players in Rondo and the inconsistent Green, an up and coming unique player in Olynyk, a top 20 pick this year in Young, and basically gutting all team depth for Sanders (who admittedly I'd love to have), Gay (who's a good player but is expiring), McLemore (who is sure looking like a bust right now) and Jerebko (who is just a "meh" role player all around). No thanks.

Boston gets hosed in this deal.

Young could be better than McLemore, I'd like to see him play first before shipping him out.

KO played really well at the end of the season, I'd like to see if he's improved, and I like his attitude over Sanders right now which will keep him on the floor and not riding the end of the bench for 11 mill a year. And Zellers per is about the same as Sanders. Zeller wont shot block like Sanders, but I think he can do everything else as good if not better on a shorter contract and a lot cheaper to boot. So if he doesn't work out you're not out much and could move him, Sanders on the other hand doesn't regain his focus is an expensive bench warmer.

Gay could be out by next summer, I don't know if he'd stay on a rebuilding team, then we would get really thin a the 3 spot.

And giving up those picks, which the Nets 16, and 18 could be worth more that all the players we're getting back all together.
