Come on Indeed... suggesting we solve our defensive big problem with an undrafted forward is like suggesting we put a band-aid on a severed head.   Sure, it might stop a little of the bleeding, but still...

In any case, I like the Birch addition, not because it 'solves' our problem, but because maybe in like..3 years he could solve the problem.

In any case, I like the Birch addition, not because it 'solves' our problem, but because maybe in like..3 years he could solve the problem.

Right.  Even if we had gotten Embiid, it would have taken a few years before we would really see what kind of player he could be consistently, and not just because of his injuries - big guys tend to take longer to grow as players.

I may have been confusing Birch with Moreland.  It's too bad that Sac snatched him up, so I'd at least bring Birch to camp, and what about Alex Oriakhi?  Bottom line, we need someone lol.  Bueller... ;D
