I want to point out Kitt was built with 1980s tech back when computers couldn't win chess games or be controlled with your phone. How on Earth he would realistically run down the Dukes on backroads is beyond me.
They'd probably get Daisy's boyfriend to just dig a couple big holes with a back ho that Kitt couldn't get out of like a tiger trap

Yeah you'd have to break out the Batman-style "surely they'd think of something!" arguments to have the Dukes winning out over the massive tech advantages Knight Rider's got.
