Flip did kill it. The Sixers crushed this too. Amazing. More assets for giving up a stiff like Young. That Miami pick is going to be big. They'll flip the other players for 2nd rounders to move up in the draft. Hinkie showing why he's one of the best GM's around. Wish the Celtics were doing things like this.
How is Young a stiff at all?

And how is making your team abysmal a good thing??

Next years draft is supposed to be one if the best big men drafts in a long time. Celtics if they were a smart organization they would tank like Philly.

they're making sure their own picks are gold.

And quite possibly ruining at least MCW, who's going to suffer through 3 of the worst seasons any player ever has in NBA history.

Kinda silly seeming they acquired the two highest rated centers of the last two drafts.

Yep.  And he already regressed big time as the last season unfolded.

This is what I've been saying. 76ers have drafted two centers the last two years, and both are high potential, but also high injury risk. And don't forget the PF the tucked away over seas for the next two seasons. And now they are tanking into a draft that has a bunch of bigs.

They should have went with Exum this season and tanked for the other "insurance" big this season.

I mean, KD, Westbrook, and Green don't look all that worse for the wear after their first two seasons.

He was injured.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

pretty hard to call MCW being ruined considering he won ROY last year. And it's not like this is the first time a rookie has had to deal with a horrendous losing season. We'll see in a few years but this is why I think Sixers also need wise vets. Like I said in my previous post, I think their off-court professionalism will indirectly produce results on the court, particularly when it comes to the maturity of their young players.

Never said they would end up with Okafor or Towns but in this draft the #1 pick is probably just as valuable as the 2014 draft. They'll end up with Mudlay and then Ainge can see how bad he screwed up by not tanking. Amassing picks in a huge big man draft will bring back a lot of trade value.
