Bledsoe has had one good season and wasn't even healthy for most of it. Would definitely not want to give up a ton of assets for him right now, especially if he gets that absurd contract that he wants.

I'd swap Rondo for Bledsoe, but I'm sure we would need a third team as Rondo doesn't make a ton of sense for the Suns.

I think this one makes some sense for all three teams.

Boston - Bledsoe, Stauskus, Williams, Landry
Sacramento - Rondo, Green
Phoenix - McLemore, Bass, Sac 1st (earliest they can trade it)
that's a lousy deal for Boston.

Rondo > Bledsoe and Rondo's cheaper right now.
Green > Williams by a mile.  Williams is bust material right now
Bass > Landry .  Landry is an overpaid, undersized PF
Stauskas is an unproven rookie that plays the same position as 3 other guys on the roster: AB, Thornton and Turner (regardless of whether he claims to be a SF, he's been more of a SG)

why would this even be considered a fair, never mind good, deal for Boston?

I agree Slam, I want no part of Landry.  Williams I could care less about, he could be a restricted free agent after this year or the Celts could renounce their rights to him making him an unrestricted free agent.  I do like Bledsoe and Staukas though, if Bledsoe is signed to an affordable contract.
I agree on Bledsoe and Stauskas.  C's just giving up way too much in this proposal and this deal does nothing to clear the logjam in the backcourt but instead just adds to it.

yeah, he overrated garbage imo. not worth the trouble. but he is a guard, soooo there's a better than 50/50 chance that we're interested.

I dont get why the suns would be interested in rondo? Still think we can help facilitate a 3 team trade.....maybe with the bucks as this guy suggests..... he mentions maybe suns be interested in henson and knight ......but bucks would want to dump sanders.....cough cough we will take him!...

Not sure on logistics of getting sanders but this would be better than trading rondo for bledsoe imo

There was a rumor going around that the Lakers were willing to give up Randle, Jordan Hill, and a pick for Bledsoe, but I think the general feeling was that there was really only one guy in the Lakers front office who wanted to do that deal and was leaking the idea as a way to try and lobby his colleagues to agree with him.

Or it was leaked as a favor to Bledsoe and/or Suns.

GM/Agents institigate other front office leaks all the time.

I think this one makes some sense for all three teams.

Phoenix - McLemore, Bass, Sac 1st (earliest they can trade it)

Phoenix gets Green also and maybe it makes a little sense for Phoenix.

Exactly.

I think it might make more sense if the Celts pulled two separate deals.

The first one being Rondo to Sactown for McLemore or Stauskas, Derrick Williams, etc

The second one being Celts dealing Jeff Green among others (to make salaries match) to Phoenix for Bledsoe.

Here is a three way that I would be very happy with

Detroit gets bledsoe, Jeff Green
Boston gets josh smith, dinwiddie and gerald green
Pheonix gets pressey, sullinger, bass, bogins and picks from celts and detroit

Why for phoenix - get cap relief in bogans, improve at PF, get back a spark plug playmaker and  multiple first rounders for a player that was going to leave them this year or  next

why for detroit - they do very well picking up bledsoe and fixing their rotation problem by swapping out josh smith for jeff green

why for boston - bringing in  josh smith improves our up front defense, makes it more likely that rondo remains next year, needed to make room for turner at small forward, and get gerald green to back him up.  Dinwiddie is very good point guard prospect for future.

Zeller, Fav, Anthony
Smith, KO
Turner, G. Green, Wallace
Bradley, Thornton, Young
Rondo, Smart, Dinwiddie
