3 team trade between Boston Minnesota and sacramento
money works here:http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m4aexow

Boston gives up rondo

boston gets gorgui deing,JJ barea,derrick williams,sacramento 1st round 2017 unprotected(potential lottery pick)

Minnesota gives up JJ barea and gorgui deing

Minnesota gets staukus and evans

Sacramento gives up staukus and evans derrick williams, sacramento 2017 first rounder(potential lottery pick)

sacramento gets rondo

sacramento does it because
well they get a big three of cousins rondo and gay

Minnesota does it because
they get a great young shooting guard in stauskus and a decent back up pf to thadus young. giving them a strong young line up of

Rubio
staukus
Wiggins
Young
Pekivioc

Boston does it because
well we get our starting center in gorgui deing
who at age 24 while playing 13 minutes
PPG   RPG   BLKPG   PER
4.8   5.0   0.8   16.58

if he played 26 minutes his stats would indicate that he would average a double double. if he played starter minutes who knows how good he could be.

here is an article about deing's potential  http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/10792969/rookie-watch-all-rookie-teams?ex_cid=espnapi_public
Digest this: In terms of how much these rookies will likely impact the league, Dieng has proved to be the one guy who can lead this class over the next five years or so. Had Minnesota played him from day one, he'd be the Rookie of the Year.

We're talking about the complete package for a center in today's NBA -- rebounding, shot-blocking, paint protection (long arms, quick feet, and active and aggressive hands are the perfect storm), perimeter shooting, quick slashes to the rim, excellent finishing skills in the paint, and a deft feel for interior passing.

Dieng has shown he has all those tools -- which, by the way, also helped his college team win a title last spring. This large and agile man is a double-double machine who has sprinkled in monster games with consistently productive ones. It is fair to suggest that he has All-Star potential.

JJ barrea is a great back up pg for smart. barrea is also on a one year deal so his contract expires quickly.

we also get a backup PF and a 1st round pick

This than most trades here but I would wager the salaries do not match up even with our trade exception.

Don't understand that one for Minnesota. Dieng is on the cusp of breaking out.

Sacramento's 2015 pick belongs to Chicago. They can't trade another first until 2017.

I wanted Dieng in the draft but I'm not thrilled with this deal.  if we're giving up Rondo I want something more than a decent prospect and a draft pick that's likely out of the lottery --> the comment that's it's a likely lottery pick is contradicted by your reasoning for Sac making the deal with their new trio of Cousins, Gay and Rondo.

C's are getting back too little of value for Rondo--everyone other than Dieng is likely to be filler in future deals or just allowed to expire when their contracts are up
