Jeff Green and Brandon Bass
for
Martel Webster and Nene Hilario.

We get a starting center while the Wiz get out from under Webster's contract.

They can have Hump starting at the 4 with Bass coming off the bench.

Ditto with Green coming off the bench behind Pierce at the 3.

considering they signed Pierce and have Otto Porter to develop, I don't think there's a big enough of a need for Jeff to part with Nene. I don't think they trade a guy who's proven to work with their team unless its a significant upgrade, which I don't think Jeff is.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

Yeah, you're probably right.

This might have made more sense if they didn't sign Pierce.

I think Nene is their 2nd most important player after John Wall.

Maybe, but only if he is healthy...and that is a ginormous 'if'.

What about Green for Webster & Porter? Or maybe a 3 team with Webster getting rerouted. Green played at Georgetown so DC wouldn't be a bad place to send him.

they're very well constructed right now as-is.  The Nene/Gortat tandem with Hump as 3rd big is a very nice, big, physical group, and Pierce can play 4 to go small.

They're not looking to really move nice pieces; this year might be their first good shot at going far in quite a while.

The Wizard would be very lucky to have Jeff Green. No Im not being sarcastic , but I do think Jeff plays better when he is on a team with several scoring options.

Nene doesn't like playing center, so this wouldn't be a good trade for the simple fact that you'd have a disgruntled, injury-prone, soon-to-be 32 year old playing out of position for a rebuilding team.
