They need the playoff ticket money. Not all owners are as committed to winning above all else as our owners are.
Not just playoff money.

The Pacers attendance was particularly poor given their winning seasons the past few years. They used to be a solid franchise with gate receipts and since their team exploded in the melee they have yet to bounce back.

Jeff Green is turning 28 years old this month and people still think he has some untapped reservoir of potential. Too funny.

it's not like we think he still has untapped potential. At this point we know what player he is. He will never be a first go-to-guy or maybe even a 2nd guy. He is a 3rd best player at best. He can be an elite scorer and pretty good defender when he wants to be.

My biggest question is, what can trigger him to be more consistent. When KG/PP were still here and Rondo kind of running the show, Jeff Green was pretty consistent, because he is playing a role he is comfortable with. When defenders are sagging off of him and paying attention to more KG and PP. I want to know if his buddy-buddy Hibbert were to come to town, will that at least make him be a consistent 15 ppg scorer and not be the guy who goes off for 30 ppg for 3 games then sinks back to being a 10 ppg for the next 10 games.

Last season they more or less did. Their average home attaendance was 96% of full capacity, about 17,500. Good for 12th best % in the league. Which is their highest since the '00-'01 season. It's impressive considering as recently as the '10-'11 season, they were dead last in attendance at around 13,500 and second to last in attendance percentage.

At least, according to information by ESPN.

The Pacers have reportedly contacted the Pistons about restricted free agent Greg Monroe.

Yeah, we need to get involved in this----send Detroit a combination of Picks and Players...get Hibbert here (they have Drummond)...Monroe to Indy....Works for all 3 teams.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

ESPN's numbers are based on tickets sold aren't they? From what I understand their gate revenues weren't good given how good the team was.

Though that page does show exactly why the league isn't happy with the 76ers, they went from  being in the upper half down to the very bottom. Given how revenue sharing works that cost teams money.
