I think SNL has had some perfect commercials the last few years.

Funniest fake commercial- go

Bass-o-matic and happy fun ball were both great but I've always loved the Schmitt's Gay beer commercial - it just completely took the p--- out of those kind of ridiculous ads at a time that you didn't see much of that stuff (pre-Family Guy and the like).  And Sandler and Farley's expressions were great.
forgot that Schmidtt's beer one - classic

You're telling me this is really funny?  (It's the "living in the van down by the river" skit).

It may have been funny when you were 13, but come on now, do you still think this is legitmately funny?  Or do you just enjoy it because you remember how much you loved it when you were a kid?

And this is considered to be one of the funniest sketches ever too.

SNL is like the Simpsons, it's still going on, but people that are honest with themselves admit it's not even close to the same thing anymore and stopped being a good show a long time ago.

Hey Dad, I can't see real good, is that Bill Shakespeare over there?

Looks like youve been using your paper, not for writing, but for ROLLIN DOOBIES!!!

I loved Will Ferrell, Chris Katan, Chris Farley, and more recently Tina Fey Andy Sandberg and Bill Hader.

Another good topic is favorite hosts....I loved Baldwin & Walken the most but lately Justin Timberlake is one of the best for sure.

A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

I actually died a little inside when SNL revealed that Justin Timberlake is pretty funny.

I always thought Garth Brooks did an admirable job for a non-acting host.

I only watched from 90s on:  Will Farrell is definitely the funniest overall

Norm Macdonald - best weekend update , Kevin Nealon 2nd

Darrell Hammond - best impressionist, Dana Carvey 2nd

All the fat guys are funny, Moynihan is underrated.

Kristen Wiig and Amy Poehler are the best females in the 2000s.. Tina Fey sucks in my opinion and is cookie cutter /safe humor, where Amy and Kristen have that off kilter humor.

Andy Samberg is really funny but is also a 1 trick pony.

Other favorites:  Will Forte, Fred Armisen, Bill Hader

Don't feel bad!!!  You're not alone, nobody liked Justin Timberlake before he started doing SNL bits.

I figured some of the SNL fans around here may enjoy this.

It's crazy how many talented people have been on that show over the years.

True - it's almost impossible to find a comedy movie made in the past 15 even 20 years that did not have at least 1 SNL alumni in it.  Not necessarily a starring role or one of the bigger names from the show but almost every comedy has had someone who was at least a featured player for part of a season if not someone of longer tenure.

My wife and I almost make a game of it when we rent a comedy to pick out as much former SNL cast members in the movie as possible.  Bonus points if the movie isn't a comedy.  (Aidy Bryant would have been an excellent catch in Spiderman 2 as the statue of liberty)

Murphy has to win that best SNL performer of all time bracket, right?

That link, in which you realize that everyone was right, and SNL has always kind of sucked.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
