I tried for henson and people said that the bucks did not get enough for him so this is me making it a 3 team deal.

Boston sends rondo and clippers pick

Boston gets henson, jennings and Milwaukee 1st unprotected.

Milwaukee sends:henson and first round unprotected

Milwaukee gets Monroe and clippers pick

Detroit gets Rondo

Detroit gives up monroe and jennings

money works here http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ktop9kb

Why Boston does it

I want to trade for our future rim protector. His name is john henson and he plays for Milwaukee.
when he plays about 20 minutes he avg 11.1ppg 7.1 rpg and 1.7bpg with a PER of 17.97 and he is 23 years old. He has had flashes of brilliance in his two years in the nba. Milwaukee has Larry Saunders so they don't need Henson.
he is also very cheap he costs only 2 million for 2 years.

Jennings is a solid veteran who can be smarts back up or start in the beginning to get the pressure off of smart. jenning stats are 15.5ppg 7.6 apg 3.1rpg and a per of 15.67

The Milwaukee pick could be lottery high. Monroe and parker are great additions to their team but I doubt that it is anything serious.

Why Detroit does it

they have been looking to get rid of monroe because they want josh smith to go to pf and they have andre drummond at center.

They get rondo who will most likely resign with them because he is best buddies with josh smith.

a veteran and young player are a good price to pay for a star

why Milwaukee does it

Because it means they get monroe a great young starter perhaps star. They could have a great starting line up with the addition of monroe and parker. They were willing to cut ties with henson because of saunders. With monroe they get a more proven player and a clippers pick.

Not bad, everyone wins but us but we do not come out that bad in this deal.  Rondo is better than Jennings but I have always liked Henson but he is not without his flaws.   His frame is slight but he can block shots.

the one thing people need to realize is that rondo is on a one year deal. if we did a sign and trade we could probably get a first round from detriot as well.

Not bad at all.  Milwaukee won't be as bad as last year, but they will still be a lottery team.  A lottery pick and a young PF/C for Rondo isn't bad

The only small change that might be necessary is adding something like the Clippers, Cavs, or 76ers pick going to Detroit, they may not want to trade away Monroe just to switch Rondo and Jennings
I'm bitter.

Detroit is the team making out well. They dump Jennings and swap Rondo for Monroe.

For Milwaukee it's a lateral move that cost them their 1st so don't see them going for that trade.

For Boston it's not enough for Rondo.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Here's a deal for a young promising rim protector:

Danny Ainge: Khem Birch?

Khem Birch: Yah?

Danny Ainge: I'll do one year partially guaranteed with two non-guaranteed years and a 4th year team option.

Khem Birch (craps pants): Yes!

For Boston it's not enough for Rondo.

first of all jennings is a solid veteran he actually has better stats then bass.
2 reasons why Milwaukee does this
monroe stats 15.2 pgg 9.3rpg 0.6bpg and a per of 18.16
that is a good player
also monroe is a name. It brings people to the seats and henson is a shot blocker and not as big of a scorer as monroe.
Can you imagine the line up of knight parker monroe and saunders.
It will bring people in their seats.

Finally why boston does it
You say it is not enough for rondo but what is
he isn't a top 25 player
and he is on a one year contract
A lottery pick and a rim protector I think is the best we are going to get.
rondo is a great player but only a couple of teams are interested and it's hard to get something that has value to us. This gives us what we need desperately and a great pick to help us in the future.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
What positions do they plan on playing the Greek and Parker? Henson and Sanders are presumably starters.

… Greg Monroe is not a name. Your average basketball fan probably doesn't know who he is, let alone casual sports fans.
