If you were GM our fortunes would equal your name.  I like 5 the best but I hope DA can do better at the trade deadline.

Surprised the Sixers wouldn't take on Bass.

They seem to have a thing with wanting to be really bad.

Why all the hate for Bass?  Yeah, he does take some minutes away from KO, but he doesn't from Sullinger, and we don't have many big buys as it is.  Plus, you know what you're going to get from him every night (cough, cough, Jeff Green).  He's a great guy, and although he does belong on a contender, I really don't see a problem with just keeping him and having his contract expire at the end of the year.

Bass is what he is, a quality role player on a great team.  If Sully and KO aren't good enough to beat him out, they won't be building blocks for the future.  Don't trade him unless it actually makes the team better.

Is there some reason Montiejunas figures so prominently in those proposed trades? Did you see that he was being shopped? I thought Houston liked him and he had a decent summer league

Well Danny is reportedly trying. Teams just are not budging.

Scenario #4 appears attractive. Young PJones could kick start his career here.  Thabeet could find some limited minutes under coach Brad. The picks might turn out really useful in the future.

Bass is a very solid player on this team and we should get some value back for him.

trades are just pretty much a dump of Bass for a marginal return.  nothing that would really improve the team.  He's a good player -- better than the scraps coming back from other teams.

would prefer to either move him at the deadline when someone needing a solid PF off the bench comes calling or let him expire after this year and get him off the books.

Why is all your posts sketchy? You just throw out there names, teams on a daily basis. You never write  a cohesive OP, wherein you write in sentences. Why? You just want to raise your posts number?
You just play with the trade machine and post what you get without reasoning.

Trade Nr 2 is not gonna happen for sure. Wizards try to contend so they signed Blair and Hump. Their big man rotation is pretty good with Nene and Gortat.

I would just keep Bass, unless I can get anything of value for him. He is a good locker room guy, and his contract comes off the books next year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
