JSD, my thoughts and sympathies are with you.

I lost my mother to breast cancer 17 years ago after she fought it for almost a decade. Long fight, and I still think of her often, but time does heal all wounds. I'm sure it doesn't feel that way now, but the pain you're feeling will lessen over time.

Losing a mother ends a chapter in one's life, but underscores what you said in your post about not taking those around you for granted and making the most of your time with them. Those words of yours are words of wisdom. Thank you.

Lost my mom to cancer nearly 33 years ago, so I know your pain.  At first it is all encompassing, nothing else means anything including your own existence. Guard against substance abuse and accept the help of those who have your best interest at heart. Live your life in a manner that would have made her proud. In time the pain will fade but never completely leave, the scars will always remain. Grieving is a process and we must pass through each and every step. Please accept my sincere condolences.

guys cancer is not a joke

my brother went on to a 2times neck operations (left and right thyroid was removed and 2 times radiation (but in gods help) he maintains his medicine and drink anti cancer, he is fine and he works, thankfully 

and my mom had his operation last july 30 2014, for my understanding its a sis
my aunt was operated too and recovering from it (i think the ovary was removed)
my dad had his mole remove outside of his eyes but he is ok now, doctor says its a cancer but not life threatening
my uncle passed away from cancer the past ( if i can recall )2012 or 2011 due to throat cancer which is already at critical stage
my other uncle went to operation for his stage 4 colon cancer the past months and he is ok and recovering from it
my grandmother also had it the past years, he had a colon cancer too and she is 80+ years old and still strong

as my prayers to you and your family, i want you guys to also pray for my family
cancer is not a joke guys
don't eat super toasted black colored fried or grilled food etc;
as they say guyabano  and some other fruits can somehow help fight cancer
be aware of your surroundings and always pray to god for a good and healthy family

pray also for my mom to have a fast recovery and let his neck be healed from that operation
