San Antonio Spurs All-Star guard Tony Parker has signed a three-year contract extension worth $43.3 million, league sources told Yahoo Sports.Parker will earn $12.5 million in the 2014-15 season, and his extension will start in the 2015-16 season. He will make $13.4 million, $14.4 million and $15.4 million during the extension, a league source said.
If Rondo shows he is 100% healthy , I have no problem giving him a similar deal.

Wow, Parker is already 32 years old. He'll be 36 on the final year of that deal. So, $15.4 million for a 36 year old PG whose game is dependent on explosive quickness.
So with that said, how do you pay Rondo? Do you think if we paid Rondo 14 - 15 mil a year, would that be fair?
parker's deal is a hometown discount, something Rondo has indicated he is not interested in giving.

Rondo doesn't talk all that much about his contract.I heard the opposite. I am sure that his agent will ask for the max but will be open to other options. Each summer a slightly different market is set for new contracts.

Most of us saw when he said something like he already gets paid star money but I haven't seen any comments that said he wasn't willing to take less than max or that he wants a substantial raise. I see a lot of people speculating that he is going for big bucks but not one quote from Rondo or any of his people saying it. We haven't heard a whisper from Woj or anyone credible about it either way. I'm not saying he doesn't want max or a huge raise but I at least want to see where people are getting this stuff from.

And if he does try for MAX, DA will either not sign him or **** him out.
