3-Team trade scenario involving 76ers and Thaddeus Young

Celtics get:
Kevin Love
Corey Brewer
Arnett Moultrie

76ers get:
Gerald Wallace
Kevin Martin
Joel Anthony
Jared Sullinger

Timberwolves get:
Thaddeus Young
Jeff Green
Brandon Bass
Nerlens Noel

And then whatever picks would need to be swapped to appease all parties involved

We'd have to give Philly at least 4 first rounders to make them take that slop bucket.  And Minny would want at least a couple first rounders as well.

Pretty crazy trade idea man.  But I like the premise of this thread.. maybe we can still get him.  Maybe.

Slop bucket is exactly right. I don't even think 4 picks to Philly would be enough especially with the Wallace contract included.

As much as I would love Kevin Love in Boston doesn't it seem inevitable he's not going to agree to an extension anywhere but Cleveland? He knows if he waits 20 some odd days he'll go there, but if for some idiotic reason he isn't traded Cleveland has to be the favorite for him in FA with James/Irving/Wiggins, no?

Seems the Kevin Love Sweepstakes is over, and there's a clear winner.

It ain't over til Jarrod Sullinger sings.

Doubtful he'll come here unless Danny Ainge give them what they want & Love agree to come here... Seems unlikely but everything is possible. :)

Once Wiggins is tradable, he's going to Cleveland.  However, I would question whether he's going to sign a long term deal there.  Obviously he'd go to play with LeBron...but LeBron isn't guaranteed to be there long term himself.  If you're Kevin Love, do you sign a max deal for an extended term knowing that there's a possibility that in the next couple of seasons you could be stuck in Cleveland without LeBron and in a similar situation to the one you're trying to escape in MIN?

Celtics trade Wallace and few second round picks and Pressey for Love... this sounds as real as the OP

Maybe, but it won't be until February before the trade deadline.

Then we can deal Bradley's contract, Jeff Green, Sullinger and whatever else and also take on Kevin Martin's contract.

I think this could be a possibility.

We (or at least the OP, me and whoever else wants Love) need to keep our fingers crossed that he does NOT get dealt to Cleveland (or Chicago.)

not unless they throw in 4 or 5 first round picks to sweeten the deal.  ::)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

You give me a good chuckle:) I mean you really need to get a grip, because this proposal is just not working in this universe.
