Everybody on that list is garbage except for Okafor, Oden and Blatche.

Okafor and Oden both woyld be nice if healthy,  but health is a big question mark.   Blatche would be a nice pickup who I've wanted Boston to get for a while,  but he's not really a true center.   Not sure he's much (if any)  better than Zeller or Olynyk.

I think we need a couple more draft picks.

What do you want your big to DO? If you just want someone to stand there and be big, I guess you should sign Sim Bhullar =P

oden is basically done
blatche can't defend and rebounds
okafor is out for almost a year, serious injury

Unless danny gets involved with the love trade somehow it looks like there will be no more fireworks.

Center spots locked between zeller, fav, anthony with zeller sully KO bass seeing majority of mins upfront.

We just signed a former #2 reclamation project in Turner.

Let's do it again with a former #1 or #2 in Oden or Okafor. I'd like both at the min and gamble on one of the two paying off.

I think there has to be a meaningful trade coming soon.  They have Bradley, Smart, Thornton, Turner, Green, Wallace, and Young clogging up the 2&3 positions never mind Johnson and Babb.  They can't find enough playing time for all of them.  I'm sure Danny has plans A, B, and C, depending on how the Love trade unfolds, to ship one or more of these guys out.

Unless we land a top 3 pick in next year's draft (very unlikely), we are not going to get a top center pick.

That's the beauty of next year's draft and how it matches up with the Celtics.  We shouldn't need a top three pick to get a strong center prospect.  Okafor and Towns might be elite prospects and Myles Turner may not be too far behind.  Plus, there's Cauley-Stein, Dakari Johnson, Diop, and maybe a couple international centers who may be pretty good as well.

Wonder what the holdup is with Greg Monroe and Detroit. Nobody's bid on him and he remains unsigned, correct?

Aaron Gray is out there on the wire .. . at the age of 29. Limited upside though.

Disagree. WCS likely will be available later. AJ Hammonds the same.

Worse case Danny can try to bring over Big Al again

NEWSFLASH not all those guys are going to be top centers.  There is usually only one if every couple of draft.   To think that this next one was several must mean that we have different definitions of what top center are in all likelihood.

Every draft there are C's picked but that does not make them top C's.  I agree with  footey unless a top three pick your getting a second fiddle.
