Bledsoe and Bradley backcourt is not needed when we have smart.
I don't follow this.  If Smart means we don't need Bledsoe, why would we need Rondo?  I think trading Rondo for Monroe and then backfilling with Bledsoe makes sense, if you like Monroe.

I also think people need to keep in mind that Pho is doing a Sign and Trade and would not expect to get the same return as a straight trade.  I think something like Bass, Bogans, and Young would be a good return under the circumstances.  They seem prepared to let him walk.

I do agree with the concern about signing Bledsoe long term, albeit at a much lower "max" than what Rondo's max would be.  I just have not seen him play enough to have a feel for how good he might be.  I have seen Monroe more and like what I see.  He may not be the whole answer to our problems but I like Monroe for Rondo better than Rondo signs for the Lakers after another horrible Celtics's season and we get nothing.
