Boston sends Jeff Green, K. Bogans and the Philly pick to Detroit
Boston sends Brandon Bass, Celtics 2015 pick with protections and 2016 Brooklyn pick to  Sacramento
Detroit sends Josh Smith to Sacramento
Sac sends Demarcus Cousins and Carl Landry to Boston

Boston out: Green, Bogans, Bass, Philly pick, 2016 Brooklyn pick, own 2015 pick, protected
Boston in: Demarcus Cousins and Carl Landry

Detroit out:Josh Smith
Detroit in: Green, Bogans (non guaranteed), philly pick (likely a second round pick)

Sacramento out: Demarcus Cousins and Carl Landry
Sacramento in: Josh Smith, b. Bass, Celtics 2015 pick with protections and 2016 Brooklyn pick

Why for Boston? Get a franchise center
Why for Detroit? Move Smith who is not a great fit, get Green who would be a better fit (they need an SF not a PF).
Why for Sacramento? Get Smith and two draft picks, plus relief from Landrys big contract
Celtics fan for life.

I LOVE this for the Celtics but I don't think the Kings deal Cousins.

Unless Ainge holds the entire Kings FO at gunpoint, this is never going to happen.

If the Celtics had Cousins, would you want to hold on to him or trade him for that collection of players and picks? Sorry, not happening.

I think there are combinations of these three teams that could produce interesting trades but probably not that include Cousins and probably do include Rondo and Smith ending up in Sac, Monroe signing with Detroit and young players ending up in Boston.

I think Detroit would sell low on Smith, certainly Green would do it but that is probably more than needed.  I think Bogans would be very valuable to them to give instant "cash back" so to speak and then they can sign Monroe easier.

Sac could end up:

Rondo
Thornton (for example)
Gay
Smith
Cousins

That isn't really all that bad for them (not a team I would want be we are talking about the Kings).

What about Rondo and Smith to Sac, Green to Det, Cousins + D Williams + Stauskas to Boston?

There are alternatives to gunpoint.
