We'd need to send them a bit more I think. Probably Zeller and one of their own first round picks.
ie:
Green+Bass+Nets 2016 first rounder+Zeller

Good idea though but I doubt they've given up on him just yet.
I agree with you that it would take a lot for a team like Brooklyn to move a very talented, though injury prone center, like Lopez. You might even have to substitute Sullinger for Bass to get them interested and at that point it starts to get ridiculous for us to make such a deal. Also, I just read on the Trade Machine that Zeller can't be traded in combination with other players. I'm not sure how long this restriction lasts (30 days, 6 months?).

I don't think this trade works for either team.  The Nets are in win now mode and need Lopez to have a healthy season.  Green and Bass aren't talented enough to help the Nets accomplish that.  The Celtics are rebuilding and Lopez is too much of a risk considering his contract.
