last season, the celtics averaged 96.2 points a game, which put them at 26th out of 30 teams. the highest scoring team was the clippers at 107.9 per game.
the posters above, when I add up the scoring totals for each player, range from 106 to 130+.
gone are crawford (13.7,) bayless (10.1), and hump (8.4). it is quite a leap of faith to think that the 26th ranked team in scoring will vault to near the league leaders in scoring.
but, being eternally optimistic, i too hope the celtics can score better than last season, especially in the 4th quarter when other teams would play defense and all too often beat the celtics like rented mules.
