I sincerely hope he never returns to the Garden after he retires.

NBA

Is too predictable......where else would he go .....but ganging up with the best player in the league

He was just waiting to see where LBJ landed .

He isn't leaning

He is begging and pleading with them to sign him

Lol, sooooo pathetic.

When we play the Cavs this season, I think we need Gerald Wallace or even Rajon Rondo to "accidentally" step on his ankles when he tries to make a 3.

Although that wouldn't be the worse thing for Ray because then Lebron can massage the pain.

Ray Allen and Mike Miller are old and slow. Defensive liabilities.

For a team with questionable defensive aptitude, I do not think these are the guys (together) that they should be targeting.

Ray is like Gollum out there chasing "easy rings"

I think all this moving really changes Ray's legacy as to a Mercenary best 3-point shooter of all time..I mean:

Bucks, seattle, boston, miami, cleveland

You mean a veteran player near the end of his career wants to sign with a contender.  That has never happened in the history of basketball before.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Wade'll take care of him.

Hate them all you want but at least our guys aren't dirty.

Ray Allen playing with Anderson Varejao should be fun now lol.

For those who don't know

Hahah yup. I remember that game. Cavs were wrecking Boston during the regular season back in 2009. And then this eventually happened!

To be fair, the Cavs wrecked everyone that year.  With or without KG I don't think we could have beaten them, given that we had no bench (thanks Danny!).  In regards to that picture, Varejao is a dirty player who flops as much as his hair, and he definitely had something coming his way, which made this moment all the more hilarious, whether it was intentional or not, and I doubt that it was ;D -

I believe the appropriate emoticon here for Varejao is  :o  On a side note, how did he get the nickname, "sideshow bob?"

they wrecked everybody just to be wrecked by the lowly Orlando Magics. KG would've made a difference

Ray Allen is leaning to signing with the Cavs, according to the Boston Globe.

No surprise. I never heard that he disliked playing with LeBron in Miami, and Cleveland will be pretty good next year. I'd probably do the same if I were in his shoes. Of course, he'll wait until the Love trade goes through, so that whatever contract he signs doesn't disturb the delicate balancing act that is going on with cap space and players under contract that is going on right now.
Celtics fan for life.
