I gotta say, if Saunders ends up getting Wiggins , Bennett, a future #1, and unloads Kmarts salary for a player on an expiring contract who plays no defense, he will look like a genius.

I've read that Love would consider making a long term commitment to CLE with LeBron there.  But, doesn't LeBron have a short term deal with an opt-out in it?  I wonder if that would factor into Love's thinking.

I still can't believe this is happening, who the heck would ever WANT to go to Cleveland, LeBron or not.
Cleveland is a lovely city and a great place to live.  It is much nicer than Boston on the whole and the weather is basically the same.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

The weather is similar. That's all you're getting from me.

Yeah, other than the weather, there is really no reasonable comparison here.

You are right there is no comparison, Cleveland is a much better place to live.  It is cheaper, the people are nicer, it is more laid back, the fan base and media are not raving lunatics, etc.

As far as nicer and more laid back -- I have never felt more alienated from a city's pervading culture than the brief period I spent in Cleveland. Any place that brings to mind that Bill Hicks routine about pro-lifers (Youtube it, its not CB friendly) is not a place that's worth living in. It is cheaper, though.

Anecdotes: they cut both ways.

I once spent a week in Cleveland. It confirmed all my expectations. I prefer Boston.
Celtics fan for life.
