This could end up being Danny's best off season move. Very low risk with a possible high return. ET is a good two way player and puts up good numbers is very durable. He should be a starter and this might be his chance to shine. Its quite possible that Green and or Wallace could be on the move...

I agree that Green could be gone. For Wallace to go would be a near miracle.

He is of course smaller than Green, but he's not that much behind Pierce in size: he was 1/4" shorter and 14 pounds lighter when a year younger at the combine. He'll never have Pierce's bulk or talent, of course, though he was drafted higher.

Still, if Green goes and he starts for the year with Stevens focusing on improving his efficiency, he could be a great, tradeable asset in no time.

I couldn't agree more. In the big three years, this may have been on par with the Sheed signing but in this current teams situation, I think it can really only be a good thing. Especially if it is a one year deal.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

It's a good move because he'll be a significant upgrade over Gerald Wallace, even if he doesn't play a bit better than he did in Philly or Indy.

Mike
He's obviously better than Wallace, but at least Wallace doesn't think he's a 25ppg scorer and jack up bad shots.
