I actually think the Wizards have a better chance at reaching the finals than the Clippers do next season.

They should ask for a 1st rounder for Sam. Worked for us with Doc.

Read this earlier and felt bad for Pierce. Hope Cassell stays in wash.

Has Pierce actually signed his contract yet?

If he hasn't, I wonder if this would cause him to reconsider.

wonder how long it will take for the Clippers to wake up and see that they have been sold a bill of goods.

How many minutes do you think Sam will get this year?  My instinct tells me that Doc is, "just going to throw him out there." ;)

Pierce is going to Washington to play with that starting lineup. Make no mistake about it. The Washington lineup is healthier than Brooklyn's and one could make the argument that they're better as well. I'd take Nene, Beal, Wall, and Gortat over Williams, Johnson, KG, and Lopez. Washington's pro's outweigh Brooklyn's con's. Simple as that. No need to read into the coaching thing.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

None. Cassell will be hired as an assistant coach.

Exactly. Wall, Beal, Gortat, Pierce, and Nene in the East have a better chance at reaching the NBA finals than the Clippers do in the West, never mind the Nets.

What a play Cassell just drew up to get Rice an open 3 to send their summer league game vs SA to a 3rd OT.

I'm sorry for the confusion.  I was being sarcastic (I guess that the winking emoji did not accurately reflect that).

I don't think you can just draw the line there. Pierce could've gone to LAC on the same deal (alledgedly). I think it was a balance between a better chance at success coupled with a team that is absolutely in disarray in BKN, coupled with comfort with the organization.

Clippers will never make it to the western conference finals. Thus, CP3 will continue to be disappointed and decides to take his talents elsewhere.
