Works in the trade machines, and actually would be a win for us salary wise. Both contracts are expiring.

Why for Charlotte: as Zach Lowe explained in today's article about Stephenson, the Hornets need a four, and in particular one who can shoot a little and play D. Bass is the better player, expiring and they're still under the cap

Why for Boston: clear time for KO and Sully at the four and create a nice 5 rotation with Zeller, Biyombo and Faverani. Save approx $3 million in cap and tax....

Heck yeah I'd do that, but I don't think the Hornets would.

I think they would, especially if the Celtics add some picks.

I would do it. Certainly wouldn't add a pick though

Done! The problem would be on Charlotte's end. We might have to sweeten with a draft pick and they still might not bite.

YES. Gets rid of a PF, gains a C. Younger and cheaper. Easy
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Their priority is probably moving either Gerald Henderson or Gary Neal.  They'll try to use Biyombo as the sweetener to get someone to take one of those guys, although I doubt it will work.

If Charlotte offers Bass for Biyombo and Neal, with taking on one of Charlotte's extra SGs being mandatory unless you give up a first, what do you do?  (Keep in mind that this is not a yes or no question.  Your reaction can be to make a counter-offer.)  I can't see Biyombo being valuable enough to take on either of those guys, so the Celtics would have to shop for a third team that needs SG depth.

Dude has been working out this summer and looks muscular, unlike our Sully. In his previous years he was skinny, and according to the video vlog, he was never taught to work out properly. He is worth the risk, loves to run, block, rebound and brings energy. Has a huge wingspan and is motivated to work hard.

Why is either player a "bonehead"???
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

I would do Bass and maybe the Hornets would like Chris Johnson for cheap and we get Biyombo? I would probably offer the Hornets a second round pick with Bass and that's it. First rounders are valuable and I don't want the celtics to give away a first rounder.
