I don't think Turner plays any role in the pursuit for Love, mainly because he's capable of being had by Minnesota presently.

I also don't see Turner as a tipping point sort of player in a potential Love deal but that's just me. I think the Celtics are looking to move a few other wing players which might explain the interest in Love.

True, I was just thinking that DA would stoop down to snagging a guy Minny wanted. But I could also see Green getting shipped out in a deal for Love, and DA grabbing Turner to fill that void until some thing else come around.

But could Hump not have straight signed with the Wiz?

Did Hump just totally pull a bro-move for us?

Did Hump just totally pull a bro-move for us?

Once the Wizards signed Paul Pierce for the MLE, the most Hump could have signed with the Wizards for was $4.2 million over two years.  He got double that, so it worked all right for him.
