Charlotte has just lost Josh McRoberts. They want to be a playoff team, but have no experienced PFs on the roster.

On the other hand, they have Cody Zeller and Biyombo to back up Big All.

Something along the lines of Bass for Biyombo? S&T for Hump?

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

I think that is why they signed Marvin Williams to that big contract. He started at PF for the Utah Jazz last season and gives Charlotte the three point shooting and defensive quickness it desires at that big forward position.

So I think Charlotte already has their new PF in place with Marvin Williams and plenty of depth at PF position with Vonleh and two combo C/PFs in Biyombo and Cody Zeller.

Jeff Green makes more sense for them.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Going after Lance Stevenson makes the most sense for them...

I don't think Lance Stephenson would be a good fit in between Kemba and MKG. Charlotte really needs a floor spacer in between them.

Lance Stephenson would be the perfect fit for Charlotte. They don't really have a starting sg as LS. He can shoot too. I have big faith in LS.

Gerald Henderson is the starting SG, and a very underrated player IMO.

Yep.  Stephenson is a better player, but not leaps and bounds better.  Now if they can move Henderson for some solid value and bring in Lance it might make sense.  I mean Henderson would look great in Chicago.  Dunleavy, Snell, future 1st for Henderson would make a lot of sense for both teams.  Charlotte then brings in Lance.

Well if you read the rumors sites Charlotte is going after Lance, probably along with the Lakers, T-Wolves, Pacers, Hawks and a few others.  With or without trading anyone.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Jeff Green would help them out a lot. Since he will be playing for a possible contract this year, I suppose he will show some emotion and try to dominate. I really hope he does..

I am not sure where the defense comes from. Big Al and Marvin Williams is an atrocious defensive pair. Biyombo and Al is terrible on offense. Cody Zeller gets them no spacing too and no defense.
I think Al+Bass is a better pair overall. Bass is a good defender and provides some spacing. He is also an expiring - no long term harm done to Vonleh's development.

You are right though -  they've just payed for 1 PF and are unlikely to invest in another.

The Hump S&T idea sounds like an interesting one for Charlotte. They could use him in the rotation.

I can see them wanting Green and Bass. But don't think they will trade anything of value for them.

Let's not make a trade just to make one.   Do trades that have a purpose and improve the team.   Rick Pitino is not running the team anymore folks.

I'd give them Wallace and a 1st for a trade exception and include Babb and rights to Iverson.
