Rondo, Green, Sullinger, Sac 2015 pick , Nets 2016 pick to Detroit

Drummond, McLemore; filler to Boston

Jennings, Clips 2015 pick to Sacramento

I read of getting Rondo, who may not re-sign with them, Kings get Jennings for McLemore and filler and all they have to do is move down in the draft.

Detroit can re-sign Monroe to play center, trade Drummond for two good draft picks and Rondo, while moving Jennings out of the way for Green.

We rebuild around Smart and Drummond, but we also add McLemore to Young and Olynyk as young building pieces.  Bynum gives us a veteran pg for one year, and we get a one year rental on Williams.

Drummond would be worth rebuilding for.  Even if we had to get them better picks or throw in Young, it would be worth it to get him.

A smaller version of this trade would be to send Rondo to Detroit with Bass, they sign and trade Monroe to us with Bynum, Jennings goes to Sac, we get McLemore and Williams. Add in appropriate draft picks and filler where needed.  Either way, Detroit keeps one of their centers, puts Rondo with Smith, Sac gets Jennings, we get a center and McLemore.

You guys need to ease up on the Drummond trade proposals.  Yeah, we want him but so does Detroit and every other team in the league.  Detroit is not going to trade it's only true foundational player.

Ok, what about Monroe?

We don't want Jennings.  Kings don't need McLemore after drafting Stauskis.

Smart. Bynum
Bradley. McLemore. Thornton
Green. Wallace. Young
Monroe.  Sullinger
Olynyk.  Zeller

Still enough expiring contracts next year to trade for a center.

McLemore has not been able to shoot in the pros.  I would not want him as he is another team's blown pick.  I do think DET is a good trade partner.   SAC not so much.  It would get us one piece towards a quality team but adding McLemore, who is junk presently is not a good idea.   He barely shoots better than Sully from three which is horrible for the guy who was supposed to be the next Ray Allen.

I would rather, instead of taking on Jennings for 2 years, take a flyer McLemore and have Derrick Williams for one year.

Detroit is a good trade partner, and Sacramento may be a good 3rd team to take Jennings.  He's from out west isn't he and they lost their point guard.

Going after Monroe is our last chance to make a splash this year.  Also, by trading Rondo, we have one more year to "tank" by developing Olynyk, Smart, Young, McLemore.  Next summer, we decide if we want to keep Green, and we package some of our picks and young pieces with expiring contracts and try to get a 3rd "star" to hopefully team with Monroe and Smart.  Green and Bradley would be our 4th and 5th best players and players like Olynyk and McLemore would be role players if we keep them.  Hopefully by his 2nd year, Young could develop into a really nice 6th man.

your proposals seem to have a priority of making a splash rather than making a smart trade to improve the team without setting us back even further as a franchise.

So next summer we package Sullinger and an expiring contract like Wallace, (let Williams and Thornton walk) add in our top 10 pick, Clippers 2015, and the Nets 2016 and go after a center like DeAndre Jordan (for lack of a better example off the top of my head)

Jordan. Zeller
Monroe. Olynyk
Green Young
Bradley. McLemore
Smart

Now we are looking like a contender IF by year 2, Smart turns out to be a go-to scorer, making Monroe the 2nd option, Green the 3rd, and Bradley the 4th.

I guess by splash I mean- getting better players.  10 draft picks in the next few years and 10 young players on the roster get us nowhere unless we start putting them together in trades.  I just don't want to wait another year and watch Gasol and Aldridge be unavailable just like Love this year.  Maybe Danny can still land Love....

Unrealistic trade idea Nr.24275453
Drummond is untouchable.
Kings will not dump McLemore.
Jennings is an overpaid headcase who loves jacking up threes.

There is no need. We don't need to do a trade for trade's sake. Suggested proposals will only set us back a few years; I like where Danny is leading the franchise;
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;
