This trade seems to make a lot of sense for Indiana.  Green fits that team's persona pretty well.  Plus, he's a much better scorer than Stephenson.  Bass as a backup to West is nice, too.  I'm not sure they give up Mihinmi with Hibbert's production up in the air.  That's probably too much of a gamble to downgrade to Vitor. 

I'm not sure why it makes sense for the Celtics, though.  Stephenson is looking to take over a team, and he's not going to mesh well with Rondo.  The reason it's not working out in Indiana is because nobody can control him.  Rondo and Lance would not be a happy marriage, IMO.

Turn this into a 3-team deal with Minnesota for Love, and you might have something.

I can see into my crystal ball and see Houston signing then trading Lance Stephenson to Boston for Rondo....That my friends hands the reigns of the point to Smart... and thus begins our new era.

Stephenson is crazy at times but imo its due to his immaturity. He is younger, better leader, better ball handler, passer vs Green.
