Saw Brian Roberts got a similar contract from New Orleans too.

Neither player is worth more than the minimum.

I guess this means Stuckey is out. I wonder where he ends up. Augustine played well for the Bulls, nice deal for Van Gundy.

Again - what?  This move makes no sense unless Jennings is on the move.  It's not like Augustin could ever be classified as a combo-guard.  Size-wise, anyway.

Whats with these teams and signing multiple PGs?

Oh I know, they don't make 6'5-6'6" guards any more. it goes from 6'3" then jumps to 6'8".

I'm assuming he's the backup pg, I mean, he's paid like one and shouldn't be a starter in this league.

I believe that the Pacers are interested in Stuckey, but I don't know how that would work, both financially and in terms of playing time, unless they moved CJ Watson.  Didn't Danny like Stuckey?  Not that he would fit here, of course.  He was a great 6th man last year, though.  I believe that there was at least some talk of Miami going after him had Lebron stayed, but that's about it in terms of rumors concerning him.

Will Bynum is a better player than Augustin.

I'd love to see Ainge make a run at Bynum. I think he'd be an excellent backup PG for Rondo.

Didn't Danny bring Bynum to camp in '06 or '07 as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech?  I can't remember the year, specifically.

Bynum: 8.7/1.8/3.9
Augustin: 13.1/1.8/4.4

here's the kicker... Pistons fans are already celebrating as they think the next move will be to trade Bynum

I'm not a fan of Bynum, particularly for our team as constructed. Have no interest in him. Any improvement to our guard rotation, if any, will be minimal and a multi-year contract would be a mistake.

So no interest there on my part.

I wonder if the Celtics can trade for Monroe. I really like him.

The Tom Thibodeau Finishing School For Backup Point Guards strikes again!
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
