Got a feeling Rondo gets traded to the Pacers

Just a feeling, a hunch, that is all.

Indiana is one team that's been very quiet so far this summer.

I think they're bound to do something and everyone knows they need a point guard. Everyone also knows Roy Hibbert may have outstayed his welcome in Indy, but he might just need a new start.

So, I just think a Celtics/Indy trade could be on the horizon, just a prediction.

I also predict it could be something like this

Celts get: CJ Watson, Luis Scola and Roy Hibbert
Pacers get: Rondo, Brandon Bass and Joel Anthony.

Then, this is what we roll out with this fall (give or take a couple other additions Ainge might make)

Indiana trades George Hill Roy Hibbert Lance Stephenson

Phoenix trades Eric Bledsoe S&T Alex Len

Boston Receives Roy Hibbert Eric Bledsoe George Hill

Indiana receives Rondo Gerald Wallace Alex Len

Phoenix receives Stephenson and Jeff Green

Why it works for Boston: Ainge loves Bledsoe. Almost got him last year if it wasn't for David Stern. Hibbert in this scenario is the rim protector that the Celtics need. Also they get out of the last two years of Wallace's deal.

Why it works for Phoenix: instant offense, moves Gerald Green to a 6th man role while Stephenson works with IT/Dragic and Green gets a shot to rebound with the best medical staff in sports.

Why it works for Indiana: Rondo. Oh and also a young center in Len

IMO next year he will be available.

So basically, Rondo for nothing. I don't think so...

Thing is I don't think Smart is ready to be a NBA starting PG. Maybe in a ball movement offense with passers like KO he could do ok but IMO he is far from ready. To me he is a combo guard.

If the Suns are giving up Bledsoe and Len, we should just trade them rondo.

I would trade Rondo to Indy if we get Hibbert back in the deal. Otherwise I'm not interested.

I don't even like Hibbert... Why is everyone so infatuated with this guy... This guy sucks, overrated, can't do anything except defend, and hes even bad at that due to his slow lateral movement.

We're trading Rondo for a 7 foot defensive Center that just had one of the worst playoff stats in a long time..

It would have to be a 3 way trade for my tastes.  Indy doesn't have what we need.  If you think Hibbert was unmotivated this year, what would he be like on a rebuilding Celtics team?

I would be most disappointed not only to lose Rondo but to get Hibbert in return.
