Bucks get a young big man and shave 2 years off of the Sanders deal.

Celtics get a rim protector by buying low.

In a vacuum, that's a good deal. But what is the direction of this team?  I have no idea right now.  I'm hoping for a long term rebuild in which case I'd rather hold onto KO and see what he can become.  I would be all for this trade had we gotten Love.

Jason Kidd wanted the Nets to trade Brook Lopez and Mirza Teletovic for Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova.  Jason Kidd is now in charge of the Bucks.

I think they won't be looking to dump his contract, at least for now.

thoughts?

My thoughts are that I really like this idea.

Despite having Zeller (who I think is more of a backup), I'd love to have a legit center like Larry Sanders who can block and rebound.

What does Milwaukee say about this now with Jason Kidd as the coach? Tough to say.

And Milwaukee does this why exactly? This is a horrible deal for them.

No. Bad deal for us.

Drugs, injury prone, limited offense...

Get Andersen if you want.

Next year Jordan will be available...

If Milwaukee somehow said yes I'd do it immediately.  But they're not saying yes.  Jason Kidd is going to try to build his team with Sanders as his center.  I think many over-estimate KO's trade value.

No.

Sanders has showed me nothing other than he can't get on the court, I'd do it if we replace Sully for KO. Sanders and KO would work together, I don't think Sully and Sanders do.
