Utah has informed Charlotte that the four-year, $63 million offer sheet for Gordon Hayward has been matched, league source tells Yahoo.

The Jazz sent Hornets notification this morning, source tells Yahoo Sports. Hayward will sign a four-year, $63M deal with Jazz today.

In retrospect, Danny did the right thing signing Avery to $32mm.  Too much stupid $$ out there.

more like a bidding?
Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about money, masters worry about light… I just take pictures…

They really seem to be barreling straight for long-term sub-mediocrity.

It's time to offer Green to Charlotte in a trade.

Charlotte offered the max they could salary-wise, and put in as many favorable clauses to Hayward as possible (15% trade bonus, player option for year 4).  There was no higher they could go.  Jazz had the right to match it, they did, and that's that.
