Well this is unexpected, to say the least; and cheap, too.  Wow.  I'm surprised, because Carter has been such a great 6th man for the Mavericks, but I don't think that he's a starter anymore, so do you think he'll come off the bench in Memphis?  The Grizzlies desperately need more offense.  Now if only they replaced Tayshaun Prince with Jeff Green, backed up by Vince, they'd be a serious contender, imo.

Yes you are correct, thats what i meant to write was the nuggets, but i believe talks have stalled, I think he ends up signing with the cavs

Seems like a long contract for a perimeter player as old as Vince is. Not sure how well he holds up for duration of that deal. It is a good move for next season though.

I've read that too.  This is more like a 2-year, $10 million deal paid out a little differently.
