Good move for the Hawks. Get him cheap as well. If we didn't get Thornton I would think Bazemore would come to Boston for depth.

how did we not get him if it only cost 3 million/year for 2 years?

The day Bazemore (SG) met with the Celtics, they signed Thornton (SG) in that 3 way trade. They probably can't afford nor do they want another SG. They already have Bradley, Young (maybe unless forward), Thornton.
